Versailles Rubis is the historic wine of the French Kingdom.
It was first served at the Baptism of Clovis in 508 AD, the first king of France, and consistently through to the lavish feasts of Louis XIV in the 17th century… The Pinot Noir clusters for this bottling were harvested in 2016 in parcels in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, selected individually to give this great natural Champagne wine its noble characteristics.
The kings of France recommend tasting this delectable work of art in an ancient French method which consisted of bringing the wine from the cellar to the room hours before serving, to bring it slowly and gently to room temperature before serving.
The recommended serving temperature is at 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
